What families need to know about the new 3 Day Guarantee
From 5 January 2026, changes to the Child Care Subsidy will bring in the new 3 Day Guarantee. This means CCS‑eligible families can access three full days (36 hours) of subsidised childcare each week, no matter how many hours you work or study.
At Wonderland, we know how important affordable and flexible care is for your family. We’re here to help you understand what these changes mean and support you every step of the way.
What Is the 3 Day Guarantee?
The 3 Day Guarantee is part of the upcoming Child Care Subsidy (CCS) changes — and it’s designed to make early learning more accessible for every family. These changes remove the old work and study rules that used to limit how many subsidised hours you could receive.
Here’s what families can look forward to in 2026:
• No minimum activity hours needed to enjoy three days of subsidised care each week
• Up to 100 subsidised hours per fortnight for families who meet the activity test
• 100 hours guaranteed for families caring for First Nations children
For families, this means more affordable care, more flexibility, and even more opportunities for your little one to learn, play, and grow in a place where curiosity leads the way.
